Jin Shin Jyutsu was rediscovered by Master Jiro Murai in Japan in the early 1900's after a battle with cancer that nearly took his life. After his miraculous healing he vowed to share this modality with the world. In the 1950's he met a lady named Mary Burmeister, who he felt lead to share JSJ with, with the condition that she would take it back to America. She started teaching JSJ to others 10yrs later. This simple yet profound form of acupressure focuses on 26 areas on the body called Safety Energy Locks.  144,000 energetic pathways run through these areas on the body, feeding life into our cells.  Receiving a session offers relief from tension, pain, numbness and emotional upsets within our body.  By gently placing our hands on various areas of the fully clothed body, we begin to release the stuck energy (pain, tension etc.) promoting optimal wellbeing of the mind, body and soul.
